The buttonbands are done! Whew!

I found the buttons on eBay. They are vintage 1/2-inch Czech glass buttons that match the colors in the Northwest Sunset Vest perfectly. The buttons have a little bit of yellow graining.

Next will be pick up and knit the armhole bands. After that I'll fold back the steeks and tack them down.

Hi Terry...Had a peek at your blog through your KBTH e-mail link. Wow, you do great work! I'm always happy to see others who work Fair Isle and Arans!

Holy moly. I can't imagine doing something that gorgeous (and complicated)!
You NWV is just beautiful. I do love those buttons. Where ever did you find them my dear?
Lovely work.
Now, I feel inspired - as soon as I get the lace over with.
Gorgeous colors!!! How will you knit your sleeves? With steeks?
Your vest is beautiful! I was thinking of buying Sweaters from Camp but would like to see some pictures of what is in it. Do you know of any websites? Thanks!
Terri – it looks MAHvelous! You are so detail-oriented and your knitting really really shows it! Watching your blog is an example of patience and excellence!
You also pick beautiful patterns and make them yours - a sign of a true professional!
The socks are off to a lovely start - don't you love picot edgings?
Keep cool, kiddo - a brief hospital stint put my knitting on hold for a while, but I'm back in the saddle again, LOL:)
Happy knitting!
