Let the games begin ...

I decided my project for Knitting Olympics 2006 will be to knit as many socks as possible. I will cast on when the Olympic flame is lit on February 10, 2006 and see how many pairs of socks I can knit in 16 days when the torch goes out on February 26, 2006. I have plenty of sock yarn. Wish me luck and come join Team USA!

What a GREAT idea! I wish I had thought of it. I'm making my version of Knitty's Very Tall Socks, I'm changing it toe up, random stripes, and using DK weight wool yarn instead of the acrylic. I have tons of sock yarn around here, too, I love the colors in your bag, where did you get it? Did you order a sampler like that, or was that just packaged as part of your order? Oh, duh, you probably bought it all at elann... LOL

Hi Terri,
I love the MEXIKO yarn...it knits us so pretty. The socks I made with them get lets of comments. You will be making quite a few from what I observed in the picture!
